This series of eight prints were created for 'Avarice', an exhibition of works at the Adelaide Festival Centre to coincide with Wagner's 'The Ring of the Nibelung' in 2004.

There are two prints responding to each of the four operas. The Rhinegold - 'Keeper of the Golden Apples', 'Trickery and Transformation, and Death-laden Treasure'; The Valkyrie - 'Impossible made Possible', 'Sleeping Warrior'; Siegfried - 'The Wanderer', 'Mortality'; Twilight of the Gods - 'Lamentation of Deeds Past and Reluctant Farewells', 'Endings and New Beginnings'.
